When Women Thrive, Children Flourish

At Chora Chori Nepal, empowering women means strengthening families and shaping brighter futures for children. Through its tailoring training program, marginalized women are given the opportunity to learn valuable skills, earn an income, and build independent lives.

Currently, two six-month basic tailoring training sessions are being conducted in Hetauda and Kathmandu. A total of 27 women are participating in these programs. Throughout the course, all necessary fabrics, materials, and supplies are provided, ensuring that each participant can focus fully on learning. Upon successful completion, every trainee will receive her own tailoring machine, enabling her to begin earning immediately.

For these women, tailoring is more than just a skill—it is a pathway to dignity, confidence, and financial security. As mothers and caregivers, their empowerment directly benefits their children. When women have stable incomes and renewed self-belief, they can provide better education, nutrition, and opportunities for their families.
